How are Balanced Body® Instructor Training private sessions arranged?

First thing is to contact the studio by email: archerpilatesstudio@gmail.com and let us know what you would like to arrange for Balanced Body® private Pilates Instructor trainings. We can accommodate individuals or small groups if  a few people want to do the certification as an intensive (back to back courses) versus modular (one course at a time). Own a Club Pilates® franchise ? Are you a Pilates Studio owner? This may be a good way to get your instructors trained or updated as needed. We can work with your schedule to reduce time away from your business.

The Balanced Body ® Movement Principles™ form the  foundation of Balanced Body®  Education. This course is a prerequisite for ALL Instructor Training Modules. They include the most important  information on anatomy, assessment, biomechanics and foundational  exercises needed to become a successful Pilates teacher, personal  trainer or movement educator. The course provides information on how the body works, and basic exercises to illustrate this information in movement. The five categories of Movement Principles™ are: 1) Whole Body Movement 2) Trunk Integration 3) Lower Body Training 4) Upper Body Training and 5) Mobility and Restoration. This course will give you a tool box for effectively training clients to recover from injuries, improve general fitness and enhance performance. The focus on practical understanding of common movement patterns prepares instructors to be excellent at problem solving, goal setting and learning new exercise techniques with ease. 16CECs PMA,ACE, NASM, AFAA

Learn the structure and function of bones,  joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments as well as the origin, insertion  and action of the major muscles of movement by building them yourself  on a specially designed skeleton. Balanced Body® Pilates Mat Instructor Training

Mat 1: The foundation of the Pilates  method. This course includes an introduction to the history and  principles of the Pilates method and the beginning and intermediate  level exercises.   16CECs

Balanced Body® Reformer Instructor Training

Reformer 1:   This course introduces the  Reformer,  the center piece of the Pilates equipment studio and an invaluable  training tool. Reformer 1 includes an introduction to safely using the  Pilates Reformer for a wide variety of supine, seated and standing  exercises for the beginning to intermediate student. Movement Principles  include improving lower body alignment, creating balanced muscle  development and learning a protocol for effectively training the upper  body.  16 CECs

Balanced Body® Trapeze Table Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, Arc Instructor Training

Balanced Body Trapeze Table/Cadillac/Tower Instructor Training:   

The Balanced Body Trapeze Table/Cadillac/Tower training provides a  thorough introduction to Trapeze Table and Tower exercises as well as  applications for beginning, post-rehabilitation and advanced clients.  This training is appropriate for students working with the Allegro® or  Allegro 2 Tower of Power®, Half Trapeze and Wall Tower as well as those  working with full Trapeze Tables. Sequencing programs using multiple  pieces of equipment are covered as well as equipment set up, safety and  maintenance.  18 CECs

Perfect for working with athletic clients, and as an addition to group programming in combination with the Mat. Includes exercises and variations for the original Wunda chair, the EXO chair and the split pedal or Combo Chair. Balanced Body® Pilates Instructor Training Courses Auditing

Archer Pilates Studio encourages all student instructors to audit courses & workshops to deepen your knowledge and brush up on skills. Apprentice Instructors may audit courses to refresh knowledge of exercises prior to testing out. Auditing does not earn CECs. Audit fee of $75/day does not include  manuals or DVDs.  $100/day for Anatomy in Three Dimensions.
